Michelle has been interested in sport her whole life - ranging from athletics to motocross! But she only got into weight training after seeing photos of her friend Robert Craig after he had won Mr Scotland Classic Class towards the end of 2012. With this inspiration Michelle started training with Robert, following a program and nutrition plan he designed for her. Her first competition was in April 2013 and this cemented her career.
In total Michelle has competed in 9 competitions winning 6 of them and coming 2nd in 3. She is currently studying for her personal training qualification. Her own training and passion for health and fitness inspired her to change her career path and to help others on their health and fitness journey. Michelle is also a bit of an adrenaline junkie and loves to get out on motocross bikes when she's not in the gym.
Michelle follows a rigorous training route. She trains 2 days on and 1 day off and rotates through a “push, pull and legs” program. Michelle trains smart and is careful not to over train or over develop her strong points but that does not mean she shies away from lifting heavy - having box squatted 160kg for 13 reps and deadlifted 170kg! She also does a lot of cardio training and pre contest she does 1 hour fast cardio a day!
In the future Michelle hopes to be running her own personal training business, have her own clothing line and to become World Champion!
